Polished, unique, random and controversial. Help would be nice : )

Here’s the deal: so far I’ve written four essays for the common application essay. I’ve gotten comments from many, but the problem is that they either 1. love them and rave about them or 2. hate them basically call them a waste of typing energy.

So I was wondering if I could get a wider diversity of readers by posting here. I’ve heard that many people have had success from doing this.

I would really appreciate it if you could comment on my essays. You can be as critical as you wish. Take your pick! Of course, if you would like to read more than one, that’s always welcome too. heheh.

Let me introduce the four candidates,!!!

 1. "Significant Influence" This one has a nice parallel structure deal going on and people have called it “polished” and “sophisticated”

“Significant Experience”…except that experience hasn’t happened yet (I’ll compete in August, heheh). But this one has a unique approach. I have about 250 words left that will be devoted to the climax and conclusion. Knowledge of music is recommended

“Topic of Choice” Um. It’s really random, almost spastic. However, it DOES show personality. Somewhat.

4.** “International Concern” **Yup. How Korean education sucks and screws us all over. The conclusion is a work in progress. I will definitely need to change it.

Just for reference, I’ll be applying to Yale (SCEA), Rice, Brown, Stanford, Duke, Princeton, Northwestern, UMich, Harvard and Emory.
Thanks to you all in advance! I really appreciate it.

I applied to alot of those schools last year and will be going to one of them in the fall, I'll take a look at essays 1 and 3 if you still want..i don't think I'd be much help for 2 and 4

Thanks! BTW can I ask which one you will be attending? ; )

I'd be willing to help you on 1,2,or 3. Whichever one you feel needs to be read over the most. I'll get my brother's input on it as well, he applied to a couple of the schools you did too &attends Princeton.
