<p>Poli sci degress are useless, useless unless your heading into government or law school. Also the rates for those jobs are drastically low. I would say get a biz econ degree and you’ll be set for anything.</p>

<p>Compare seeking employment (i.e. unemployed) percentages and average pay of employed graduates for various majors. Molecular and cell biology and integrative biology appear to be slightly worse than political science most years for average pay; they appear to be about equal to political science in percentage seeking employment.</p>

No specific major is required; as with pre-med, pre-dental courses (which are mostly the same as pre-med courses) can be taken with any major.</p>
<p>Yeah as a Poli-Sci major I have to agree with the people that are saying it’s useless in most cases. I’m just another student using it as a stepping stone to a law career.</p>
