I remember hearing someone speak very strongly about the political science program at nyu. But i can't remember if they said it was a very good program or a very bad one. Which is it?

Is double majoring in Politics and Econ manageable since they most likely will have the same requirements?

jdp3990 - the wilf family politics department is great. it seems that as the years go on it gets better and better

taiwaneseterror - politics and econ majors do not have any of the same requirements, but it is doable. I personally am minoring in Econ and majoring in Politics. I believe both majors require 10 courses (politics has no 'set' requirements, and i believe econ has 3 - micro, macro, and stats)

Has anyone on this forum ever taken International Politics of the Middle East? I'm thinking about taking the course not in the fall (well, possibly the fall, still haven't definitely fully decided yet, but I'm pretty set on this one course, but I'm actually considering it for the Spring of 2009). I've heard mixed reviews about the teacher, Ayda Erbal. Any opinions?
