<p>I wrote about the "Big Picture," the Big Picture of the universe, and explored how it might have some semblance of will or consciousness (selfish gene!), while doing it in a play format that allowed me to actually fulfill prompt 4 as well.</p>

<p>It was unintentional, but in order to give my essay lots of comic relief for the heavy material I was discussing, I had the characters adopt wacky persona -- after one of them mentioned about how one of the monastery statues was actually an electron microscope, it wasn't long before I decided to have a character make a witty repartee with something about UChicago's gargoyles.</p>
