I'm trying to decide between these 3 schools right now. Does anyone have any opinions on this?

bump bump bump

I can't comment on the school for PolySci, but I live in the Seattle area.
There is always somehing to do here. Seattle has its different areas which makes it very interesting. There is the Goth section, the night people section (dress up like vampires), the rich sections etc... There is a great mall and restaurant area right at the school. I would consider the Seattle area VERY liberal and then there's the Eastside (30 min east across one of two FLOATING bridges) which is very Republican. One hour from skiing, many ferries to the islands, maybe 2 1/2 hours to Canada, 3 hours to Portland, Oregon. Seattle is a working city. Busy during the day, clears out somewhat nightime and weekends.

edit- i've narrowed it down to UCD or UCI, i was wondering if anyone had any opinions about this?

I doubt that there's going to be much difference between the two schools academically so it really comes down to which school you'd rather live at for four years. If you like to study and aren't that into night life davis might be better, if you like the city irvine might be better.
If you like to ski davis is much closer to good skiing(tahoe).
