portfolio review-now what

<p>so i've already sent everything in as I had a portfolio to be reviewed, and I have a question for any people who have gone through the application process. do you know if the arts department makes contact with people they like? or do they just tell admissions "hey we want this person"? in the arts supplement it asked for my email, so is it possible i'll get an email someday from them??</p>

<p>this isn't totally urgent, but would be nice to know so i know what to expect :)</p>

<p>i just called the admissions office. they said that after the supplement is sent in, all communication occurs between the arts departments and the admissions office. so basically, there is no way of knowing whether it helped or not. sigh.</p>

<p>so will we never know if it helped us get in, even if we do get in?? that's very mysterious...</p>

<p>well, one never does know what exactly helped, so it's not so unusual, though I agree, it would be nice to know... :)</p>

<p>at least not for now...a friend of mine who goes there now submitted a music supplement AFTER he got in, and the music department talked to him around april or may.</p>
