Possibility of admission being rescinded?

So, I was accepted into UF and I, unfortunately, had to take an extra math class to get into CLAS. The math class is Trigonometry. I am absolutely terrified that I will not get a B in this class. I do not understand it that well. I have been trying my hardest to watch videos, and even attend the SI meetings to learn about it more in depth. My admissions decision is conditional and if I receive a B in Trig, Pre-calc, and Personality development, I will get accepted. I am also in A&P lecture and lab, but I am worried that I will not get a B in Trig. Does anyone have advice on this potentially revoking my admission? I am scared I will not be allowed in if I get a C in Trig.

It looks like you applied for Psychology which is a tough major. It is true, without the B you should not enroll. If you applied with the class already completed and earned a C, you wouldn’t have been admitted. I hope you continue to study and surprise yourself with how well you do in the class.

Are you sure? I am still aiming for an A in hopes that I get a B lol. But, where did you get this information from? I have seen with a lot of people that they still are admitted even though they received a C. However, none of the majors I had seen were Psychology

Also, I have never gotten a C in college before.

Yes, I am certain. This is the link to their website

I’ve read that many times before. But I called the advisors of CLAS and they said it is a case by case basis on the chance of appeal. So, if this unfortunately happened, I could still have a shot.

@ard123 Same thing happened to me when I was applying for the economics major. They gave me a conditional acceptance where I had to get B or above in Calc 1 in order to be admitted. However I ended up with a C+ and went through with the appeal. Eventually, I was allowed to enter UF because my critical tracking GPA was still above a 3.0. It may or may not be the same for psychology due to it being a competitive major. Hope this helps

I’m hoping that I won’t have to go through the appeal. But math is not my strong suit.
