Possibility of BS/MD?

<p>Hi, I just wanted to know if it was possible for me to go get into a BS/MD program, especially the VCU Guaranteed Medical program.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.90 unweighted, 4.94 weighted
SAT I: 2150 (780 Math, 700 CR, 670 Writing)- will take again in the fall
SAT II: 760 Bio, 760 Math I, probably 800 Math II and high 700s for Chemistry (don't have those scores yet)
ACT: 33 (35 Math, 33 Reading, 33 English, 32 Science, 31 Writing)</p>

<p>I have researched with professors at VCU, mainly in the field of genetics for a summer; won 1st place in my category at regional science fair.
~200 hours volunteering at local hospital in the ER
Shadowed some doctors last summer, and will shadow more this summer (mainly pediatric neurology)</p>

<p>Higher SAT scores could definitely help, but your app looks strong regardless.</p>

<p>Ok thanks, I found out my SAT 2 scores: 800 Math 2, 770 Chemistry. How competitive would my application be for something like HPME?</p>

<p>Your SAT2s are solid, but programs like HPME will look for very high SATs too, getting 2200-2300+ would really help.</p>
