possible admission rejection from ucsb?

I was accepted to UCSB as a pre-economics major, but that was my alternate major, my frist choice was bio. I guess my grades were low in chem/bio. But I was expecting to admitted as a bio major so i continued to take chem and bio. Im currently in 2nd semester gen chem and I dont think im going to pass that class. if i dont pass do you think my admission will be rescinded? it has nothing to do with my major and my GPA would still be a 3.4 and my IGETC has been done for a while now and my grades in my other classes are pretty good. I emailed the admissions office but no reply yet, im freaking out and thats why im on this site!

Will you still have 60 units( im assuming yes since you said your IGETC is done) ?
Its up to the campus , but you should be good- unless your major is insanely competitive .

yes I have well over 60 units done and all my lower division major courses done with mostly A’s and like one B. I called the admission office and they said if I get a D there is a possibility that my admission would get revoked. It would have to go “under review” or some bs like that.
