Hello! I was accepted to, and have SIR'ed, to UCLA.

After looking over my grades, I predict my final quarter 4 report card to be somewhat like this:

AP Physics C Mechanics: C
Korean 5 Honors: A
AP Calculus BC: B or A
English 4 Regular: A
AP Macroeconomics: A

My physics grade is a high D right now, and I am confident I can push it to a C in time.

Do you think my UCLA admission will be revoked for the C? I have heard from a few people about college admissions being revoked as a result of C grades...

Also, will one D revoke my admission to UCLA?

They are likely to ask you and/or your GC for an explanation of the C/D. You will aid your case immensely if you can point to specific reasons for your struggles (medical issue, severe family problem, unexpected obligation requiring huge time commitments, etc.).

My guess (wholly uninformed) is that, based on one bad class, you would only have a “probationary period” during your freshman year along with an accompanying sternly worded letter of rebuke.
