Possible college choices?

So here's the deal. I'm a high school junior, but since I'm impatient, I've started looking at colleges and my chances already. My GPA to date it around a 3.5 and my PSAT scores were a 1930 (94th percentile) with 660 on CR and Math, and a 610 on Writing. I played two years of high school football, and lettered once. I also did Varsity Indoor Track for two years to date, and I'm in a gigging band and hold a job where I work over 15 hours a week. Possible college choices?

Oh, and also, I attend a high school in FCPS, which is the hardest grading/best county in Virginia.

I also forgot to mention that up to this year, I've taken AP English, 2 Honors English courses, 3 Honors Sciences, and 2 Honors History courses.

AND schools I'm looking at:
Reaches-
NYU, GWU (I know, dreaming right?)

UCSD, Colgate, UMich, JMU, GMU, and VATech.

Sadly, you're an average applicant from Northern Virginia. I, too, attend a high school in FCPS and this is just the norm. I actually scored 1930 on my SATs. The crappy math score really ruined it for me. I have concentration issues and I also marked in random bubbles, so yeah...

But I'd say you'll improve your score on the real SAT by at least 25-100 points, which puts you around 2000. UVA would probably want a 2200 and a 3.9 unweighted GPA to consider you a decent candidate, even in-state.

Best of luck.

EDIT: Didn't see your latest scores. So you're looking at out-of-state, eh?

I'd say with your current ECs and academic achievement, I'd predict:

NYU - moderate-far reach
GWU - see above
UCSD - no
Colgate - don't know much about it
UMich - no way
JMU - good chance
GMU - yes
VT - moderately good chance

Just the predictions of a fellow high schooler though (albeit a senior). :)

DerafdirVA:

UCSD: Reach (out of state)
