anyone think their SAT score is wrong
i got a horrible score and i think there must be sth wrong with Collegeboard

I'm pretty sure collegeboard is not wrong....

I also think that something may be wrong...it's not unheard of for some scores to be reported wrong. In the 10+ practice tests I took, I never got anything lower than a 710 in math, and in my last 3 tests I never scored below 740. However, the SAT results show I got a 620. There's no way.

If there was anything wrong, I think the only way to confirm would be by ordering the score report and confirming whether the wrong answers were the ones you actually chose. By the way, I scored a 610 on the Math section, which I found pretty unbelievable considering I consistently scored over 700 (740 the week before) on my practice tests. This sucks, so I'm taking it again in two weeks.

With all the practice tests I took, I became very good at predicting what score I would get. My predictions immediately after the practice tests were never more than 20 points off either way. After the real SAT test, I felt like it was one of the easiest I have taken. I didn't skip any and there were only 2 or 3 questions that I felt could've been stumbling blocks. I tried to ramp down my expectations, but I really felt like I got a 750 or so. I could understand a 700, or 710...that could be justified I guess. But a 620?? I have never in my life gotten that low. My lowest ever was a 660 my first time ever taking a practice SAT over a year ago.

I guess there's no way of knowing for sure exactly what was "wrong", if anything. I called the college board and they're going to rescore it by hand. One possibility is I skipped a question 2/3 the way through got off track and started to bubble in answers that were one off at some point. I don't know...

I felt better after this math SAT than I have after any practice test when I was scoring in the mid 700s.

I consistently scored 700+ for CR and I got 660.

I almost always get 800 on practice tests for math and I got 740.

There should be something wrong since I did so much worse than expected.

the bets should hold some point

Every single time SAT results come out, people make threads about how 'CB MUST BE WRONG because my scores are way too low!' Every single time - and inevitably, CB is not wrong - you were the ones who made the mistakes. Bubbling errors, shifting answers up or down a line, can easily drop scores by more than 100 points.

anyone think their SAt score is higher than normal ;)

guys, don't freak...I was like what?! when I got my score...but realized I made 2 retarded errors (I got q & a so I knew which ones) of not solving completely through on easy ones...that could be the difference between a mid 600's and 700 score

It's great to get the q & a. Missed all four questions on the same paragraph (read it wrong). No mistake on CB's part.

Yes Narcissa, I got an 800 in W and 670 in R.
I would have bet my life the opposite was true.
Good thing i didnt. ;)

First Law.......

what about that incident a few years ago> no one here ever read the news

The lawsuit, filed late Friday in Minnesota, is the first since last month’s announcement that 4,411 students got incorrectly low scores and that more than 600 had better results than they deserved on the October test.

It names the nonprofit College Board and the for-profit Pearson Educational Measurement, which has offices in Minnesota’s Hennepin County.

i too am pretty sure i didn't get 690 W and 730 CR.

For CR, I was expecting 800. I know that all my SC's were correct and the passages were no trouble.

For W, I actually found which errors there were...I just don't understand (65 MC i just don't get it).

For M, I am okay with that since I know i got 2 wrong..

I don't want to order Q/A. GOSH

W i knew i got 800 for sure...and i did. math i thought i got 800 but somehow got 750 (must have gotten 2 wrong or something? i really don't understand HOW though)...reading i only got 700 even though i had been getting 770-780 on practice tests...it's weird how the actual thing deflates a practice test score by like 50 pts on each section....

i am having the same problem! math is my strongest subject and I scored a 620, which is significantly lower than my previous scores on psats, practice, etc. And my CR and writing were well into the 700s. Its very frustrating!

yeah dude i felt the same way. i thought i did fantastically on CR and only got a 600. Math i knew i did poorly on (620) and Writing, my best subject and hopeful major, i got a 670 on, which aint bad. i don't know how to figure out if i made a bubbling error. how could i do that?

Ppl. are frustrated over 600's....!!.....I consistently got a score of 700+ on practice tests and then then ended with 570,590,790 on actual SAT!!!! Imagine my frustration..I had a score of 1540/1600 in SAT -II.....But now it seems like end of the GAME!!!!!!!!
