Hey,

I took the ACT and got a 27 composite (32 English, 32 Math, 22 Reading, 23 Science).

There is about a 10 point difference between my English/Math and Reading/Science.... Let me explain.

I finished the English test and felt great about it. Then I finished half of the Math test, feeling great. I looked at the clock and realized I had 15 minutes to do the last 30 questions! I began to panic and rushed through, missing a few, and of course not finishing on time. (On my SAT, I had a Math:770, so I just need to manage my time better.) Anyways, I was feeling horrible. Math was my strongest subject and I really wanted a near-perfect score. When I had to take the reading test, I was still feeling hopeless so I just skipped around, answering easy questions. Then for the science test, I just gave up, answering the easiest questions and waiting for the time to end. At the time, I was just thinking "I need to really practice my math more, and besides, I can always re-take the ACT". So, I ended up with a 32, 32, 22, 23. Also, I have won a national science fair competition, plus I frequently have been told that I have the highest test grades in my chemistry class; this class is IB so we do lots of data analysis, which means I expect a significant improvement.

That leads to my main question. I am sure that I will score a 32+ in science and reading, as long as I remember not to panic and give up. But will ACT get suspicious if two of my subscores go up 10 points and my composite goes up 5+ points?
