Realistic improvement?

I just took the act for the first time. I'm going into my junior year, without having taken geometry and doing no preparation. My composite score was a 24, with English-24, Math-17, Reading-30 and Science-24. I had 10 questions left in English, 4 or 5 in reading, and 7 or 8 in Science. I finished math, because I guessed on a lot of the questions. I'm not really disappointed with my grade, as I don't really care to have higher than 30-32. I used to score in the 95-99 percentile in standardized tests but I really slacked off and haven't cared at all since 7th grade. I'm not looking for an ego boost, I'm just wondering if a 30 seems realistic by the end of my junior year and with some prep. As I said earlier, I didn't pace myself at all. I think if I had just finished, I would've had around a 26-28. I'm mainly worried about math. If I could get a 25 or maybe slightly higher I wouldn't care. Math just isn't my favorite subject, although I can be good if I study. Is it realistic for me to improve in math that much after geometry next year, along with prep?
