So, I'm going to college next year, and I currently have a lot clothes that should be hand washed right now. At home, I normally just wash them in my bathroom bathtub or sink, then lay them out somewhere to dry. I also like to knit, and most yarns I use require hand washing. It is most likely the dorms I will be living in have communal bathrooms. Would it be a terrible idea to hand wash clothes there, then dry them out in my closet in my dorm? It would only be a few things, like sweaters I knit myself because buying all machine washable yarn for a sweater gets expensive.

Yes, it’s quite fine, get a plastic basin and wash the delicate clothes in there.

Get one of these, a little easier than having a whole drying rack in a dorm room.
