I have been accepted into McComb’s (business) for fall 2017, but I was just wondering if it is even possible to also major in engineering? Is that something I would discuss with my academic advisors after arriving to campus?
Thx

I am currently a sophomore in Cockrell. I think it would be very hard to do, even if you could get accepted, because there is not a lot of overlap in the courses you need to take for both majors.
I had a child explore this and it would be really difficult to do in 4 years. Advisor said 5 years minimum. The more typical path is an engineering major with a business certificate or, if CS is your interest, a BBA with a MIS major or CS minor. I would recommend that you speak with the McCombs admission office and ask them directly.
you could do the STM in Business which combines both engineering and business
@makamo7 DS is a first year ECE major and told us that he will be adding a business certificate. He will still graduate in four years but, he arrived with over a year’s worth of AP credit. Definitely talk to an advisor.
