Possible transfer Student

So here’s my situation. I was rejected from Dartmouth. It was my dream school and I want to transfer. My SATs are cr 730 math 720 writing 780. Sat 2’s are biom 720 and math 1 760. I took the math 1 in January so it was a little late but Dartmouth said it wouldn’t be an issue. Anyway I just found out on ancestry .com that I am native American. Should I reappy next year and use my native american ancestry in the application. Also would they look at my application and call me out because it dose t match last years app. I’m curious thanks!

Also I’m 13 of 417 and have a 97 average at a private Catholic high school. Also I will be attending Cornell first semester I would like to know what steps I should take to transfer

Are you registered? Can you submit your papers?

Sybbie, since you seem to know so much, would it be better for OP to (a) request reconsideration of this year’s decision, (b) apply as a transfer student after a year at Cornell, or © take a chance, pass on Cornell, take a gap year, and reapply next year? Those would look like the options to me, but one or more might not be advisable.

Aboutthesame. What would you advise is the best one of these options and sybbie719 if your asking if I’m registered in a tribe the answer is no because I literally just found out about my native american ancestry yesterday

What do you mean by registered and do I have my papers

I believe Sybbie was indeed asking if you were a registered member.

Nooe not yet but I will register if I can. Would this be advisable:go to Cornell for a year and while at Cornell reapply to Dartmouth as a first year student

I’m not registered and dont have papers yet.

Also like you mentioned before would it be at all possible yo have them look over my application again

“Would this be advisable: go to Cornell for a year and while at Cornell reapply to Dartmouth as a first year student?” I’m pretty sure (from a prior thread a couple of years ago) that that’s not possible, but I will defer to anyone with more knowledge of how the system works.
