Possible??

Hello guys, I am new to CC (woo hoo!). Anywayz, I am registered for Jan 28th exam and I have around 3 weeks to prepare for it. My goal is to get 2250+ and I am currently getting 600-650 reading, 780-800 math, 700-750 writing. I don't go to school, so I will have a lot of time to study and I am currently using BB along with Direct Hits 1&2. I am also memorizing new vocabulary from practice tests sentence completions.

Do you guys think it's possible to get 700+ in reading, 800 math, 750 in writing? I took SAT 2 years ago and haven't touched it since then. I got 2140 2 years ago. What method should I use to study? Thank you guys!

ps. I am almost done with Direct Hits 1 and memorize most of new vocabs that I found from 3 practice tests.

From what I heard it’s really arduous to get a good score on CR without having a good background as a reader. You must read a lot. And it’s not about memorizing words - it’s about using them and practicing them.

I spent an year in university and read many books and I enjoyed reading when I was in a high school. So I was somewhat confident but I didn’t use english for past 8 months and that’s what’s making me feel worried.

Lucky you.

Then all you need is to study the questions. For tactics you can use either Barron’s 2400 or Sparknotes’s test prep. If you’ve been a keen reader, you can easily recuperate your skills with some practice.
