I just want to be sure, when they say postmarked Jan.1, do they mean you should hit the "submit" button by 11:59 pm Jan. 1 eastern time or 11:59 Dec. 31 eastern time?

Jan 1, but obviously, try and do it before 11:59..

yeah that's true, but if you send it with snail mail it should be way earlier than that.

I was actually wondering about this, as well! Definitely not a stupid question ... haha

Yeah, hehe, this is true LaLa. But who knows with my procrastinating tendencies ;).

JT, Jan 1 is the postmark date not recieved by

And cawcaw, I know I am such a procrastinator too!

Schools always mention how they won't penalize you if you send your application in later (as long you do so before the deadline) ... Since they read them in the order in which they are received, is this true?

i was wondering the same thing ;)

Who knows. I hope not. I'm pretty sure all of mine will be last minute. (Procrastination is like a disease.)

Well, I've sent in 9 ... It's just getting the last few out that has been so difficult. I am working on my Why Penn? essay now, and I know Why Penn? but I don't know how to find the words to convey Why Penn? haha
