Well just post all your tips and tricks.

get some sleep

Be careful and DO NOT make any careless mistakes. Make sure ur mind is clear and dont do anything stupid.

I BELIEVE IN ALL OF YOU!!!! PUSH IT TO ThE LIMIT (aka 2400)

dont sleep..DURING the test......

go back over the math section once u finished it and fix the careless mistake that ur bound to have made

read CAREFULLY on everything especially the math questions

Take Friday off.

Chew gum during the test, lots of mint gum.

don't laugh out too loud when you encounter an overly stupid CR answer.

Hey oasis- can we chew gum in the test room?
And anyone have any last minute prepping tips?
Thanks

i'm not positive, but it probably isn't a good idea to try and cram too much right before the test, it'll fill you mind with the strategies, you won't concentrate on the questions, good idea to be clear-headed going into a marathon test like the SAT I

thats what ive heard, its different strokes for folks yolks but kinda makes sense, and try and stay focused without being nervous

also, when making last minute decision, consider how nervous you are, and how your being nerved up might cause you to make a bad decision
that doesn't mean don't ever change answers, it just means consider the situation (eg 10 seconds left and debating between two choices on a passage question, Q)are you likely to make a good decision if you are nervous?)

A) probably not,
stay calm enough, but stay really focused, good luck everybody

Depends on your proctor: some proctors interpret 'no food in the test room' to include gum, but I've been to 3 different test locations and no proctor had prohibited it, so meh. I think gum helps me to concentrate (and it keeps me awake too!)

Yeah -- that is so true!! I can't help but laugh at some of the absurd answer choices.

Are any of you guys going to utilize my tip?

dont spend too long or get distracted. Also, start writing immediately for the essay and dont waste too much time planning or you wont be able to finish.

I'm considering it... I'm just not sure how much it will help.

I had fall break the last two days, which makes it bad to take friday off...

Yep, not going to school on Friday.

My advice: Not only don't laugh at the obsured CR questions, but also don't laugh at the crazily modified sentences on the writing section (i.e. The passenger could not understand why the meal was served by the intendent that was frozen.)

This will be hard to do, but I will control myself.

Eat bananas (2-3) before the test. They help you concentrate.

take friday off for what?

im taking thursday and friday off :)
