Post-Application Visit?

ND has risen to be my daughter's top choice among the colleges she has applied to. She's never been to the campus. The plan was to wait to see if she got in and then visit to confirm that it was in fact where she wants to go.

We're reconsidering that. Is there any value in making that visit now instead of waiting? Would it demonstrate a level of interest that might influence her chances? Or is it either not important or simply too late?

I would advise waiting until she is accepted. Being on the campus for the first time is a very special feeling that I never got anywhere else when I visited colleges. At this point, visiting campus won’t do anything to help her application and might only make it all the more heartbreaking if she were to receive a small envelope come acceptance time.

But, I do recommend a visit when she is accepted  The campus here is unlike any other campus!

Good luck to your daughter (and you!)
GO IRISH!
