Post-April ACT Discussion - What'd u think about this ACT?

lol I will start first
first of all, I think the reading was harder than the one last time
I also feel very sorry to hear about all those bad science scores (I get a 1 pt increase from 31 to a 32 tho!)

One more thing, doesn't it seem like that all the ppl who score about 30 (a SMALL percentage of ALL the testers) are here in CC? ppl get pi$$ed when they get a 33 lol! (XD I get a 32 this time! and I'm very happy with it!!)

lol I should call this the Post-Knowing-your-ACT-score discussion thread

I think it’s time to sign up for the june ACT…

I HATED this specific test when I was taking it. But Now it’s my best friend =]

I got a 35, up from a 32. (My prediction was 26) The science was the worst part.

generous math curve (missed like 2)
harsh reading curve (i suck at reading anyways)
but others more or less the same.

yea Math is definitely easier, I got a 36 XD!

decent math curve.
generous science curve.
first time act-taker…30 [e-34/m-32/r-26/s-26] :)…so we’re a small percentage, eh? i wonder if that’s good or bad :stuck_out_tongue:
on my sat, i got a 2020 [m+r=1330]…so i’m wondering how the act will be viewed by schools who only look at those 2 sat sections…?

well a 30 in the ACT is like a 1980 in the SAT, so it doesn’t really make a difference lol

Seriously… science is the bane of my existence. 35/33/33/24=■■■ squared

oh sorry to hear that man!
btw, anyone who has a composite score of 32 is actually better than 99% of all the testers!
LMAO yay

haha idk11 that’s what i did… only in reading 32/35/24 O.O/32

does anyone have an estimate of the reading and science curves?

Reading: -1 = 34? What bull!

I thought that this test was overall easier than the one I took in December. I went up a point for English (30), 5 points for Math (35), 4 points for Reading (26), and 5 points for Science (30), to get a Composite 30.

I just need to find a way to boost my reading score.

I took the 3 practice tests in the red real act prep guide and was consistently scoring 28-30 and on this April ACT I got a 34, pretty surprising. Morale of the story is…go do those practice ACT’s in the book they’re great preparation. Regarding the reading section, I agree, that was my best section in Feb and my worst section this April.

yea last time I actually could easily answer every question in the reading section.
this time I had to rush through the last section~

I mean last passage lol

reading was -1=34?? that is freaking brutal. it was unusually easy but still that’s insanity…
