i only got a 10,433 UC Grant

the grants are based on ur efc.

Can one of you please tell me what this means:

"Your financial aid award packaging is not yet complete.

Funds cannot be disbursed until all required promissory notes and any other required documents are received and verified by the Financial Aid Office. "

its on my "davis financial aid" tab in myadmissions. I got my financial statement for UCSB so why does my davis one say this?

it also says:

" The UC Davis Financial Aid Office has not yet received an 'Official' estimate of your eligibility based on the FAFSA you filed. Please review the Student Aid Report (SAR) sent to you by the Department of Education and make any necessary corrections. To be official, the Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) shown in the top-right corner of your Student Aid Report (SAR) should show a number. If the EFC is blank, the SAR is unofficial and must be corrected.

To correct your SAR online, go to FAFSA corrections online at http://fafsa.ed.gov, or contact the Financial Aid Office for assistance. "

Include UC Davis in your FAFSA and resend it

only? i think that's a lot...i haven't gotten my aid info yet but i got $8000 UCI grant so i'm guessing it'll be the same for UCD.

i got NO grants b/c my parents' income is too high. w-t-f? i thought grants were based on merit.

i feel your pain hellothere77
zipo $, just loans but they're worthless to my parents who are very disappointed and concerned on how they have to change their spending lifestyle for the next four years.

it's their fault for making too much money and not saving for my college tuition and partially my fault for getting an average gpa

and i think integtypeR should be happy with what he got, because that's half the tuition

thank you tastemyhypocrisy. and get this...i only got $3,000 in loans b/c yet again my parents "make too much." we aren't even rich so i don't get it. basically my parents have to somehow to pull $17,000 out of their butts for 4 years of college.

my family's income is also over the ceiling. what exactly is this uc grant

check out some student loans from major banks. i'm pretty sure you can get a student loan from wells fargo or bank of america.
