My son took the SAT for the first time last year.

W 760
CR 680
M 340- yes there are math issues

I guess the math would qualify as a legitimate low score. Neither of us are crying over the other scores. He plans to take the SAT again next September after taking the summer to study.

I have a 550 Math, 580 Critical Reading, and 620 Writing with a 9 on the essay. I am not upset with my scores since I am in the 78% of all students. My act is a little higher at a 27 with a 10 or 11 writing score which puts me almost in the 90% of all students. My SAT subject tests were a little worse with a 580 on Literature and a 490–yes a 490–on chemistry. The funny thing is I hadn’t taken chemistry in nine months. That wasn’t to smart of me. LOL

I’m not as disappointed with the essay, as it was controversial, but I’m really let down with the math. The fact that getting an 800 on the CR a second time is highly unlikely makes me more upset. People called my disappointment crazy, but here, I don’t feel as silly…

yeah if you go by this site, everyone here seem to think that anything under 2100 is borderline ■■■■■■■■. However, average is usually supposed to be 1500-1600 (on a 2400 scale). mine is an 1850, hopefully got at least a 1900 today!!!

I did pretty well on the SAT I but I got a 520 on my Spanish subject test…I wouldn’t recommend taking that unless you’re FLUENT or hispanic. IT WAS SO DIFFICULT!

All these people who lament over scores less than 2100 make me want to kill myself. CC will be CC… you guys have NO IDEA how thrilled I would be with 2100. I’m perfectly happy with this.

1900 Total
560 Reading
600 Writing(8 essay)
740 Math
