Hey.. 700CR-800M-800W.. Should i retake it to up the critical reading? Or just leave it? Would lower math and writing scores but a higher CR score look worse than just leaving it?

You're crazy to retake if you got a 2300. Hell if you got over a 2100 I don't think you have any business retaking, but I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with me on that.

i am so disappointed!!! :(

CR: 700 (what i expected)
Math: 760 (Where is the 800???)
Writing: 660 Essay: 9 (What?)

Total: 2120 (not horrible but not what i want)

Man i have some studing to do over the summer.

i got the same exact scores as renak, weird

first time taking:

710 critical reading
780 math
790 writing

i'm pretty damn happy!

-- anything over a 2280 is 99.9th percentile, folks. Chill out! A 2280 on the SAT cuts the mustard for verification of a 240 PSAT. At a certain point, you run into the statistical margin of error on the test, and there is no significant difference between a 760 and 800 (especially on math, where one wrong OR one omit can be a 760, depending on that test's curve).

First time --- This time

M-680 --- M-690

CR-530 --- CR-570

1210 --- 1260

My schools dont do Writing so I dont really care. I need to get 1270 for Florida's BrightFuture and I missed it by 10 points! I was COMPLETELY sure that I had gotten at least a 700-710 in math and I got a 690...I was so let down by it.

I guess im going to retake for that extra 10 points in math. Is it possible to take the sat and just do the math sections and forget about the rest?

CR - 690
M - 710
W - 770
E - 10

2170...way above what I expected...retaking in May or June...

CR- 760
Math-800
Writing-770
Essay-10

Total: 2330

I guess I should feel good for my first time, but I was hoping for a bit more, especially since I rarely get less than 800 on CR. I'm finding it hard to get myself to retake though, just cause I really don't want to sit through it again.

CR 690
M 780
W 720

2190.....OK for 1st time. REtaking in June, hopefully getting around my PSAT (229)

huh how did you guys get the essay scores? mine's not there yet???

Most people, myself included, had it appear right under their Writing score....perhaps a delay?

oh ok, i guess there's a delay..but why would only my essay be delayed?

HOLY *****!
800 CR
