rejected…yep the rejections came after.
at least looks like the people who were enthusiastic about amherst got in

Accepted!!!

holy cow!

rejected lol

waitlisted D:

Waitlist :/

Guess it’s rejection then. I must be one of the last to get rejected.

My last name begins with V. Gonna wait…

Rejected! Last name starts with a K. So much for that.

Do they tell you your rank on the waiting list if you ask?

I’m in! My last name begins with S and I got my email around 3:14pm.

Rejected. Amherst was low on my list of schools, but I’m still waiting to hear back from my number one which is the only school I applied to harder than Amherst, so I feel like this isn’t a good sign!

wait-listed. damn!!!

Accepted!!!
Last name starts with “C”

Rejected. Way to move on.

WOW I’ve never seen so many people get rejected and waitlisted for one college… This year’s competition was tough… (I was waitlisted >_> by the way)

Waitlisted. And life goes on.

D was waitlisted, which is actually a shock–fully expected an outright rejection. Will probably send in the card, just because, but she is in Carleton, Bryn Mawr & WashU so that seems like more than enough from which to choose. Congrats to those who got in!

@light10491 I live in Medfield, which is southwest of Boston.

And I think someone mentioned this… the waitlist is supposedly “not ranked”, if you’re waitlisted it says in a separate sheet they send with the letter.

Rejected
SAT: 1600/2350
Rank: 1
GPA: 4.0 UW
APs: 5 AP 5s, another 5 this year

Comments: I wasn’t planning to come here, but I would’ve liked to make that choice myself. I received a likely from Cornell, which is now my “backup”. Waiting now for April 1st schools.

Waitlisted. This is really really ominous for my April 1st decisions.
