There is no grade inflation at my school. I worked hard for several of those grades. Some things do come easy to me, but I do have to work hard, and I do have to sacrifice a lot of time in order to do well. I don't think that anyone is stupid for getting lower grades. I think that someone is smart based on how hard he tries, and how much effort he puts into someting.

H = 5.0, A = 4.0, top GPA ~ 4.3, so Hs are very uncommon)

^Wow, you get some serious extra credit. :P

My only teacher that gives extra credit is my precalc teacher, and it is extremely hard; I don't even bother to do it.

Well, it comes from extra credit bonus problems on tests (with an otherwise 100.0 average ;)) and on various other things (like getting a 26/25 on an assignment because in the "Name: _________________" box at the top of the worksheet, I signed my signature, which was so awesome that my Gym\Health teacher decided to give me an extra point :D).

^Why can't my teachers be that cool?

My chem teacher will occasionally throw in a bonus question on a test. The last one was: How many guacamoles are in Avocado's number?

And I never figured it out...
