Yay for intense studying paying off!

"At least now we are working on trig."
Ah! Why would you ever say that?! Trig= death. I CANNOT pay attention during class.

As far as studying for history... I go onto my book's online site and take the practice test. My teacher obviously doesn't use the same questions, but it helps me to gauge how well I understand the chapters...

Just out of curiousity, what has your worst test been so far? My worst one included four chapters... but the part that made it so terrible was that my teacher decided that we had taken so many great notes, we should just include the next chapter in the test... a chapter that he hadn't assigned, and that he'd told us WOULD NOT be included on the test... oh, and this assignment was given the day before the test. Thanks, Mr. [insert name of APUSH teacher here].

its still annoying tho, since that person will be picked over me if we both apply to the same schools and everything..plus the colleges are still gonna make the person take that class again in college (well usually) so in the end i lose out :(...

trig is easy for me...for AP US H, our teacher tells us that the tests he gives us are WAY HARDER than the AP test..so that's helpful :) the thing that gets me about his tests is that they have chrono, matching, and other little 'exercises' that he invents..i'm totally okay on the multiple choice portion, and when we have essays i'm okay with that too...so not too worried abou tthe ap test.

But as long as I get a 3.0 and a 18 on the ACT, I'm automatically accepted, so I can basically fail my last year and submitt my ACT score from 6th grade and still be gauranteed admission....SCHWEET.

I'm applying to in-state schools, so I'm not going to kill myself to get all A's.

But so far, in the 2nd semester, I have 100%'s in every class. It probably won't last for long :D .

I just got a D on my AP english language midterm. Hours and hours of work first two quarters to get 2 A's and my A goes down the drain in the span of a little over an hour.

Ha ha, that's a good question. I was actually suprised to find out when I first found this forum that most people only take about 5 classes a year. Out school has 9 period max, and I didn't want to waste any time. The homework load is about 2 hours, but ti could reach around 5 on really bad nights.

He's a Junior, it's definitely possible. My school only has 8 periods to max out when I'm a junior/senior though. No matter, I'll be doing a lot over the summer.
