<p>This is a great thread but keep it admits, waitlists can happen for many reasons and are not in the same pool as getting in.</p>
<p>The most surprising admits I’ve heard of so far are 1890/600/640/640, 3.5 unweighted GPA at Columbia and 1910, 3.3 unweighted at Cornell. Both students had some pretty amazing nonacademic aspects to their application, though (but were otherwise unhooked).</p>
