Wake has one as well. It's also nice to wait because then you know how much wall space you've got (we had picture molding around the wall which meant we had to have small posters and pictures because there wasn't anywhere to put big ones).

wtf????? why cant you get what ever you want you dont know what you like?

Which actual physical stores (as opposed to online) have nice posters?

The colleges in this area (Duke and UNC at least) have big "poster sales" at the very beginning of school where you can go in and choose from thousands of posters to decorate your room.

Carolina - when is the Duke sale going to be? Is it open to any college student or is it specifically for Dukies?

I wonder if my school does that...

Pitt also does the poster sales but they inflate the price like crazy. Neat tip if you are going to be hanging lots of posters, get the 3M poster tabs they are awesome. They stay the whole year but come cleanly off the back of the poster and the wall when you need to take it down. I'd advise buying packs of them because if you're anything like me you'll end up moving them around during the school year.

Wake has one? Sweet...I may just wait and get some posters there then.

www.allposters.com has a bunch of posters, and they even have whole section of suggestions for dorms. i got some pretty nice posters of some beach scenes. ebay also has some awesome posters for really cheap.

I get my posters from www.playboy.com

also Maxim and FHM. I make my own too.

Juba2jive, Wake had one last year, and so I assume that they'll have one this year.

Huge map of Mexico, Trent Reznor poster (complete with leather and fish-nets) and Orlando Bloom poster. I also bought a small wall-hanging in Ireland of the different counties, and I have a cloth calendar from the year I was born. We'll see what-all fits :D

if you want to be OG, wait till movies get old at theaters and ask someone that works there for a poster. that way, not only is your poster free, but also not sold in stores. :-)

Don't buy posters that are too expensive, you will probably throw them out at the end of the spring semester because you will be a hurry to leave. (which is also BTW a great time to get free posters and other crap from people leaving) You would be surprised how many students just put up the beer boxes from their first week of drinking on the wall and call them "posters". Most college students decorate every inch of the wall with something (poster, calendar, dry erase board) so this was a valid question.
