Thanks to a shady connection I have with an employee at a local mall movie theater, I have aquired what may be the greatest piece of dorm room decor of all time- A giant 300 poster.

This thing has to be at least 15 feet tall. I am absolutely baffled as to how I'm going to get it to fit into my dorm (it's more than enough to completely engulf a wall and then some. Maybe the ceiling?) but its gonna make it in there, by god. Its the one with the spartans pushing all of the persians off a cliff, and it's got the words "300" and "prepare for glory" on it.

I'm not sure why I'm making this a thread, but i feel like a little friggin schoolgirl I'm so giddy. Maybe I'll get some pictures up. I challenge anyone on this board to outdo me with a piece of their dorm decor that beats it in terms of sheer awesomeness.

But yea, anyone bringing anything cool for their dorm this fall?

My friend works at a local movie theater and after a film is past its prime, they're allowed to divvy up the posters...they get to take whatever they want.

I work at a theatre and have a bunch of posters that I give to friends. For some reason corporate sends us like ten copies each, even though we only need one for the display. Not only that but they send us posters for movies we don't even get as well.

I'm bringing an oil painting of Stephen Colbert my best friend made for me...what a great first impression to make on my roommate! Even weirder would be if I brought the painting of ME, and maybe, hung it over her bed. But I won't go that far.
