Is anyone bringing posters to hang on their wall or something? I'm thinking about it for some inspiration, as well as to make my place look nice; as if someone social is living there.

And no, no Master Chief or Final Fantasy sh't.

I don’t know about posters for “inspiration,” but most people do have posters…

I have a picture of Jesus on my wall. He inspires me.

Pretty much everyone hangs some posters up on their walls. My school has tents set up where you can buy them during the first week or so, and that’s what I always did when I lived on campus.

PORSCHE

10char

I can’t believe people older than 13 would put posters up on their wall.

Dorm walls look pretty bare without something up.

walls are supposed to look bare. They’re walls.

Muscle you seem like a really boring person.

When I move out of my crappy summer housing and into my awesome fall housing I am going to hang up something Marvel related and a huge ass poster of Spock (I thought a 6ft tall replica of him was a bit much). And also posters I get at whatever concerts I go to throughout the year.

I have no problems with being called boring by a comic loving geek.

I had no posters last year. I guess I was too lazy to order any but my friends’ dorms had many posters and their rooms looked way better than mine. Their rooms looked more cozy and lively. I’ll probably get some up this year, like Coldplay and BMW posters :)

“I have no problems with being called boring by a comic loving geek.”

LOL.
Who said I liked comics?

Besides I was joking. All I know is you count calories and don’t care what a wall looks like.

For inspiration, what are your goals? If your goal is to get a lot of money, buy a picture of a nice car or a nice vacation spot. This kinda stuff can keep you motivated if you are feeling the need to procrastinate. Just look at the poster and think that you are working towards it!

I’m taking my posters to college with me.
I have mostly musicians but I also put up several pictures that I’ve drawn and one of the different Dungeons and Dragons dragons. Didn’t know it was DnD when I bought it, just that it had dragons XD (It’s cool though, I love Dnd)

I’m working toward trying to connect with my lord and savior, Jesus Christ. I already ordered 10 posters that are custom framed and going to hang them on my wall.

No, in all seriousness I already have several framed 24x36 posters in my room. I’m bringing one poster of a Ferrari 430…woot!

When I was in the dorms had a couple band posters, a couple metal signs and some snowboarding posters my roomate brought. Last year in my apartment one of my roommates dated an art major so we had abstract paintings of horses.

Gonna put up a BIG ASS bahamian flag

Tony Gonzalez/Antonio Gates or some other great Tight End poster

Maybe a car or another football poster (maybe Tom Brady the G.O.A.T)

Small souvenirs from trips for which I was sponsored. Newton’s Cradle (Cheesy, I know) and an Obelisk.

Freshman year, I had Waterhouse’s “Lady of Shalott” and Klimt’s “The Kiss” up on my wall. I also had lots of postcards and some calendar pictures. It was actually a huge pain taking everything down, so I put less stuff up now.

I have a bunch of Jack’s Mannequin posters, some Wake Forest sports posters, Minnesota Twins pennant, some artwork posters, and two flags.
