<p>smeal is a farm school for the pittsburgh and philadelphia big 4 and other top CPA firms. at KPMG, EY, and GT office interviews i went to 50-60% of the candidates were from penn state, by far the highest representation of any other schools there.</p>
<p>i started at penn state but dropped out because i was young and not ready to start thinking about a career, wish i had not, even though I had a good experiance at Temple and got a job lined up… </p>
<p>penn state besides being known for football, partying, child rapists and child-rapist enablers is a very serious academic institution IF you choose to make the most of it. You will get a top-notch education at penn state if you are serious about it. </p>
