Potential for Improvment: SAT vs ACT

A few months ago took the SAT and scored

CR: 620
M: 570
W: 560
Cumulative: 1750

If I were to retake it now I might score 1800-1900. I see no room for improvement, despite the fact that everyone who knows me would expect me to get at least a 2000.

I just printed and took the ACT practice test from their website and scored:

English: 26
Math: 27
Reading: 30
Science: 26

Composite: 27

So both my SAT and ACT scores are comparable. The question for me is "which has the most potential for me to improve in?" I'm usually not a fast test taker and the ACT was absolutely frantic for me. I'm not sure what I can do to speed myself up but I either finish exactly on time, or, as in the case of reading and science, I had to guess on the last 2 and 4 questions respectively. I'm not sure how much I can improve on speed.

It seems the bottleneck for me on the ACT is speed while on the SAT the bottleneck might be their trickiness and ambiguity that I can't get over. Which do you guys recommend I choose to pursue based on potential for improvement?

Thanks in advance.

Your 27 is better than your 1750, which is around a 24-25. So retake the ACT.
