I am a Freshman at an excellent liberal arts school currently. This past weekend I visited Georgetown, where my friend goes. I kinda fell in love with the school.

What kind of qualifications or process do I need to go throught to be a transfer student. I understand the freshman admission is very difficult, is it as difficult for transfer students.

Yes, it is as difficult, with the added caveat that you probably need a 4.0 (or close to it) for this year.

They'll look at SAT/ACT and HS transcript again of course, etc., etc. If you go to a good school and get good grades and have a good professor rec. you have a good shot I'd say. With that said, most of the transfers from outside the university that I know who go here came in from an Ivy. That may be an uneven sample, who knows, but for what it's worth.
