To any Mid

Son wants to know how much grief he may get if his gf shows up on PPW.

not any...lots of girlfriends come.

Mine came with my parents.

No problems so long as they don't start playing grab-a$$ in T-Court.

our son's gf already has the sweatshirt ready to go- only I think, as lovely as she is, she will be outshined by little annabelle wearing her little Navy dress!!! :)

Make it a T-shirt unless she wants heat stroke.

navy2010,
I don't recall ever seeing dogs on the Yard...we did see a cat by the chapel...

Actually, we saw several, which prompted our question. Got the word from the ?Marine? (guard in cammies) at Gate 1....who told us dogs are allowed, as long as 1. they are leashed and 2. you "clean up" after them.

So when I mentioned that Annabelle would be in a stroller, and that she used a litter pan, he replied, after several moments with a puzzled look on his face, "HOORAHH MAM!"

the thorpedo kept walking, lest he be affiliated with his crazy mother.

I mean, he seemed to know what he was talking about....????

Z- will definately get that tee for the GF....as for Annabelle, she won't be bothered by the heat~ the stroller is "ice-air cooled"!! If anything, she will have to fight off the rest of the family members that will be trying to claw their way in there too!!

Smart kid. ;)

Z- LOL!! yeah, he is....but guess where he gets it from!! :)

From his Dad! :D

<zaphod dives="" for="" cover...=""></zaphod>

;)

Lots of girlfriends in tow with the mid's parents when we were there, vying for time with the mid!
No PDA's lest the mid get in trouble. Make sure the gf knows this well in advance. Hugs and kisses only allowed for Mom!

It may be awkward with the gf, sharing so little time and having so many questions, but it can be done.
Good Luck.
CM

Z--- shame on you! You better be diving for cover!! If it were up to his dad, he would be at West Point!!

OH, NO!

lol! :D

Z- I knew you would come around! ;)

Ok. I hope I did this right. For PPW, we fly in thursday 8/10, see son exercise and sweat 8/11 Friday morning, spend the weekend with him, say goodbyes Sunday night 8/13. Is that the plan for others? Thanks in advance.

We're on the same schedule. Drive over Thurday night. Up early Friday morn for plebe PT. Weekend together (as much as possible) and head home Sunday evening. We'll probably have grandparents in tow for PPW.

thanks for the information. We have no hotel yet though.

GET IT NOW and good luck. Might try Days Inn on Riva Road. It's about two miles from academy - straight shot.

Amen on getting it NOW.

In fact, I would recommend you book the hotel rooms for GRADUATION. NOW.

Dawgs Z, shouldn't we at least wait until they're youngsters?! On second thought......
