HI, So I’ve just started prep for my first SAT. I will be taking it in January. In my 1st ever practice test I scored 1850. Is it possible that I get a 2300+ score in my first try?. I took the first practice test without any prep whatsoever. So what do you think. And give me some tips.
@FlyingAnon Of course it’s possible, but it’s very hard. You’ve got a great score to start out with. Just try your best, only use college board tests, go through CC threads and decide on quality prep books (I’d personally recommend direct hits, Erica Meltzer grammar and Pwn the SAT). Also, keep in mind practice tests won’t predict your exact score. I got a 2400 on a practice test the day before the real thing but a 2200 on the actual test, but the other way around is also possible. Good luck, and I hope you get that 2300+.
