Pranking at MIT

I thought I wouldn't be able to participate in the fun of pranking at MIT because I didn't know how to program or have any useful technical skills, but after checking out its history book of pranks, not only am I super excited, but I am also thinking about ways I may possibly contribute. What do you guys think? Do you guys have any ideas? Is there supposed to be an extracurricular group that does this?

IHTFP Hack Gallery: Welcome to the IHTFP Gallery!

Well, there’s no officially-recognized group.

There will be opportunities at CPW and Orientation for you to meet other like-minded people and, perhaps, see the sights of campus. Just keep an ear out.

Isn’t it just people meet up, plan, then execute? If I do happen to be admitted…I wouldn’t be surprised if I was walking to class one day and suddenly noticed that the Great Dome was covered in a bright hot pink tarp or something.

… don’t organize your hack on CC/in a public forum/etc.

What Piper said.

If contributing to campus exploration and art is something you are interested in, you will find the right people. Promise.

Hacking is not legal. I do believe that in certain incarnations it is a felony. Please do not document or plan your felonies on CC.
