Okay, so I'm taking the SATs next year and I want to get the highest score possible in order to get into Texas A&M. I signed up for a summer Pre-Calc class at a community college so I can go straight to Calc 1 after Geometry. I have to take Pre-Calc in Senior Year if I do not take it now. Problem is that I want to use this summer to prepare for the SATs. I'm looking at classes with a company but the schedule is too congested. My parents are telling me to do both at the same time but I don't want to. I don't know what to do, so which class is better? Thanks

Pre-Calc because you actually learn something valuable.

Have you taken an SAT practice test before? How much do you need to improve? Have you tried studying on your own yet (with prep books)?

@halcyonheather no because I have not had anytime whatsoever

I’d recommend taking a practice test before you spend any money on SAT classes. If you score high without any prep, you’ll have less work to do than if you get a low score.

And if you score above 2000 on the practice test, I’d recommend just taking further practice tests and working out your strategy yourself because at that point classes aren’t worth it.

Pre-calc. Sat math is just practice. I got 800 on Sat subject and 800 general.
