Pre CalSo requirements? (CoE) and other Q's about classes

on the CalSo website…

“Engineering students
Review the packet of materials mailed to you by your college, including the College of Engineering Announcement, and complete your proposed first-semester schedule on the included worksheet.

Did I accidentally lose mine / not get one of these, or have they not been mailed out yet?

I haven’t really looked into any courses at all yet… am I behind? (I thought they were going to help us with that at CalSo)

Freshman seminars listed on [Seminars for Freshmen at UC Berkeley](http://fss.berkeley.edu/freshman.lasso) … what does LG mean (just normally graded, as opposed to P/NP)? And are freshman seminars worth taking (they seem to be, but are they very hard/fun/etc?). Also, is this one of those things that I should more for enjoyment of learning, or are they recommended to be somewhat related to major?

to be determined at a later point… but thanks in advance for the help :)

I didn't get mines either. I think they will probably be mailed out later. In any case, it's available online in PDF form on the CoE website.

the new engineering cirriculum requires students to take seminars related to their major.

i didnt get mine either

blippity bump

Oh... and what's the dealio with Phase 2? Is Phase 1 getting your housing offer + doing CalSo, and Phase 2 is accepting housing/Telebears?

"the new engineering cirriculum requires students to take seminars related to their major."

Seriously? That would really suck. I'm EECS, so does that mean I can't take an English Seminar or something similar?

Of course not, you can take any seminar you want, granted you must take whatever is required of you on top of that.
