Hi guys, since I was told that Chemistry revolves around majors related in medical fields, I was wondering if you guys can also help me list out possible Science majors out there. What are other medical fields out there that req. college chemistry besides Biology and Pharmacy? Does Veternarian req. chem? Please make a list of the possible med/sci majors as possible. thank you very much and help is very appreciated.

as far as I know, every science major requires at least basic chem. I’m not familiar with too many science majors, but at my school we have chemistry, biochemistry/molecular bio, general biological science, human biology, microbiology, ecology/evolutionary biology, entomology, environmental science, food science, neuroscience, physiology, zoology etc.

Medical Technology

Pre-Vet students have to take a curriculum pretty similar to pre-meds. (1 year gen chem, 1 year orgo)

Nutrition Science. Chemistry, Biochemistry, biology, so forth…
that’s what i’m gonna be majorin’ in.

Chemistry is so important because well, it is arguable the connection between Physics and Biology and thus, is everywhere.

Physics and all flavors at it when applied at a large level is Chemistry.

Chemistry is the molecular underworkings of all Biology related fields.

Thus, chemistry is more or less in required in all sciences (unless you count in Math that is)
