I'm trying to decide what classes to take in the Fall of 2011.

I know I'm taking Math 16A, but I'm not sure if I should try to take Stats or Econ? I am currently taking Stats at the community college in my city, does anyone know if that will count as my Haas prereq?

Also, I want to take my R&C requirement but I'm not sure what I'd like to take. Has anyone had good experiences with a certain class they'd like to recommend to me? And what about breadth requirements, any I should tackle first?

For statistics, use [Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) to see if your community college course articulates to Berkeley Statistics 20, 21, or 25 (not 2).

For breadth, if you do not have any specific courses of interest in mind yet, you can consider courses that can fulfill one of several breadths, such as ESPM 50AC (American Cultures plus one of three possible L&S/Haas breadths) or English C77 / ESPM C12 (one of four possible L&S/Haas breadths) so that you have more flexibility in choosing breadth courses later.

The only AP tests I took were AP US History (score 5), AP European History (score 3), and AP World History (score 3), since my school doesnt offer APs. Will any of these courses help?

Your AP tests don’t count for anything except units. Your statistics class should count as long as it follows the assist.org guidelines, but I don’t think the grade will be counted for when calculating your pre-req GPA.

AP credit gives units (which may help with class standing for registration purposes), but not for the L&S or Haas 7 course breadth requirement. The History major does not accept AP History for any major requirements.
