Can anyone tell me what other classes at McGill might satisfy the one year of Bio, with lab, required by most med schools? I am a California resident, and the state med schools in CA do not allow you to AP out of the med school prerequisites. For example, UCSF med school says the following re the Bio requirement:

"General Biology, one year with laboratory, including the study of vertebrate zoology. Courses in vertebrate embryology, genetics, cell physiology, or comparative vertebrate anatomy, with laboratory, will satisfy the biology requirement for admission."

I'd like to have as many options as possible for med school, particular those schools for which I might have a better chance as an in-state applicant. I'm sure I'll need any advantage I can get!
