I'm about to study pre-med major...........and I'm taking gen Bio, Calc II, Geography Cities, Expos English and one more of Science...........I dont know what I should take because I already had AP chem and get credits from that............but a professor said Organic Chem is the way too way for a fresh man year..........so he suggested me to take it next year
Is that a good way to go.........because I plan to finish premed in 3 years

some advice:
don’t rush premed. doesn’t do you any good from an application standpoint. second, if you plan on going to a top medical school (applying anyway), some schools won’t take AP credit for courses like chem or bio, so consider taking it at rutgers. should be a breeze and you’ll get adjusted to college academics, then you can nail orgo as a sophmore. id suggest taking bio, calc 2 (make sure you take the lower level one!!), chem, and expos. drop the geo course.

what kind of chem?..Organic or gen Chem…cuz Chem is basically what I studied in AP…and why dropping Geo…cuz I need it for graduation…

don’t overload your first semester. you’ll be getting adjusted. see what you can handle, and then throw on more if you’re up to the challenge. as a pre-med it is critical to maintain a high GPA, don’t jeopardize that by overloading too early. as for what kind of chem - i am referring to gen chem.

you’ll have plenty of time for the geo course later, believe me. and don’t take any courses too lightly just because you may have AP’d out of them - the college level is much more difficult.

ap chem and chem 161 just do not compare when it comes to difficulty. don’t take gen chem too lightly. more students find this course more difficult than as easy as you’re making it out to be.

what is geography cities, and why is it so important?

Let me put it this way. Although you might be offended, this is reality.

AP Chemistry (4 or 5) - Difficulty level 5

General Chem DL- 6

Organic Chemistry- 12

whow…but I wont take Gen Bio in fall cuz I cannt take Expos…and some advisors saying that dont take Chem over again…just take credits?..what am i gonna take now?

just fyi you HAVE to take gen chem at college to get into medical school, even if you have AP credits.

pre-med is not a major, lol
