pre med

I am kinda in the middle of deciding still as to in what order to take the science courses in college to fulfill the pre med requirements. Physics and Biology are two options (chem definitely later). I keep hearing that first year it is better to take Biology as it is easier to handle, but Physics I just studied senior year and would probably be better since what I learned is very recent(but I hear it is considered harder in college or would be harder because I am not like a genius in math). Any experiences and advice would be really valuable. Thanks

There are many people who take physics their freshman year, it’s not very weird or uncommon nor is it to be a sophomore or older in biology. If physics is fresh in your head and you want to do that then do it.

Difficulty at Penn:
Easiest ---------------> Hardest
Intro Physics –> Intro Chem –> Intro Biology

Especially if you take BIOL121, it will be much harder to do well than in Physics. It’s not necessarily the material that’s harder, it’s the grading curve.
