Pre-Med?

What exactly do you do? Is it just Bio, Chem, and Physics, and courses that get you ready for the MCAT?

And is it a lot of work... cause ive heard it's a lot of more than other courses.

I've moved your thread to the Premed forum, but the first thing to do is to read the sticky threads at the top of the page.

Yeah read through the stickies, but in essence you got it right. You take a year each of Bio, General Chem, Organic Chem, and Physics (all of these with lab components) and a year of math and english, then you take the MCAT and apply.

BTW, the "courses that get you ready for the MCAT" are the pre-req courses. Thats why you can major in anything you want - the only required courses for med school will give you the basic info needed for the MCAT.
