How is the pre-med course at McGill? Does the faculty help you to get into medical school? especially for a medical school in the US?
And is there grade inflation?

There is no pre-med stream, you simply take courses that fulfill med school requirements. Many pre-med students go into the Physiology program, though.

On the contrary, there is grade deflation, particularly in the Arts where, from what I’ve heard, there can only be a certain number of As, Bs, and Cs, whereas in Sciences, it’s not as subjective and if you get a 75%, you get a 75% (a B+), unless they grade on a curve, which isn’t common in Sciences. You’ll have to work hard, even for a B sometimes!

what classes are you in? I’m not in science so I can’t speak from first hand experience, but pretty much all my good friends are, and they always talk about how tons of their classes are curved up, especially math. Generally they tell me that it’s the physical sciences that curve. Are you in like psycho or something?

To the OP: You won’t find any grade inflation here.

well I have been admitted into the Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, and the Bachelor of Sciences programs but I dont know which one to choose.
So comparing the med scenario, which one is better : a small LAC in the states or Mcgill?
