Also, Penn doesn’t require SAT scores, not sure why you sent them.

Thank you for the responses everyone! Provide a link and I will chance you back!

I also forgot to mention that I sent Duke a pretty substantial update on my research. This update informed them of the great progress and success I am having and even included some pictures of my work. I additionally had a fantastic interview with Duke (I know it has a minimal impact) and I got a 4.0 this semester (unweighted). Does that change anyones prediction for Duke?

@BA10115CA I checked and confirmed that Penn and Cornell require scores from all dates.

Oh! I thought you meant that they required the SAT specifically. So sorry!

Hmm… Relay for Life team captain isn’t really an activity, but the rest of the ECs seem OK. Scores and grades are great!
I think you’re in at probably 3/5 of NW, USC, Vandy, WUSTL and Whitman.

The others probably not.

Just to let you folks know, Northwestern admit rate last year was 13.9%. If you exclude Warton from the Penn admission rates, I think it will have a higher admit rate than Northwestern. Most are not accounting for that …

Vanderbilt Accepted
I don’t know about the other two

What do you mean by “essays are strong”? People reading essays often confuse “unique”/“refreshing”/“a superb command on language intricacies” with “strong”. There are no strong essays or strong supplements. The so-called strong essays won’t get you into a good college. The key is in the combination of various elements within your essays to create synergy with your main ECs. E.g. A straightforward, fresh essay discussing ethics of medicine synergies with an EC that detailed your talks in a region about stem cell ethics. It could also be sublime, and non-obvious. Since your ECs are quite scattered, it is really important to know what you wrote for your essays to predict whether you will get accepted/rejected. I think the best way is to objectively read your ECs first, form an impression of what this person is, and read the essays yourself. If reading the essays make you feel that you’ve gained a coherent understanding of what that person is, then good (i.e. it makes sense when combined with the ECs); if not, then bad. I believe you can chance yourself better than anyone here.
