hey guys im gonna be applying this fall and am probably going on the bio-related/premed track. Im from california and will probably apply to most UCs (berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, Davis, Irvine) CAn u guys tell me what schools are ranked high in these areas for bio-related sciences/premed undergrad (u can list them here or list websites with more info on this)? also, what exactly is BME (biomed engineering). what does a typical student do, learn or courses they need to take. so far i only know JHU, Duke, UCSD are great in the field im looking for, but ive also hear JHU is extremely competative and only allows qualified students to apply to med school. help me out thanks!

hey i'm also gonna apply to few schools offering pre-med.. for pre med. undergred. one of the compatative school is penn. and then of course DUKE. once in JHU, dont have to take MCAT. "COOL" but i would join any seven yr. prog. and take MCAT. U have to be really good to go in JHU. My friend got 2360 on the SAT he says "i dont think JHU people ar going to take me."
