I have strong interest in both medicine and economics/business. Would a double major in premed and economics be doable in terms of the workload? I know that the premed workload is apparently a lot. I have taken the hardest classes at my high school, but I know that they do not compare, and I am coming in with about a semester and half worth of credits from Ap’s. In addition, I want to be able to have fun in college, maybe go a party or two on the weekends… Of course, grades will always come first( my goal is at or above a 3.8) and I don’t want to spend my entire college experience plastered, but I do want to have fun too. Is it possible to pull off this double major and still be able to have fun like so many of us did in high school? Or would I be spending all of my time either in the library or in the frat houses, with no time for sleep or anything else? Thank you.
